This is a hotfix for this product. This section describes new features that were introduced in this release of Genesys Skills Assessor.
DNA Data service now fully supports multiple tenants.
Skills Assessor and Portal now use a predefined machine key, rather than a randomly generated one.
Users are now warned if they attempt to close an assessment before completing it.
Prerequisite of Java was removed.
Prerequisite for Net4 .5.2 added.
Improved SQL connection checking added to the installer.
Log files now recreate each day, rather than on restart.
Assessment reset can now be configured for tests that are passed rather than failed.
Improved localization handling.
This release includes the following corrections or modifications that were made between Release 8.1.127 or earlier releases and the 8.5.547.7255 release:
Fixed overlapping text in feedback only assessments.
Fixed bug with data export when there are multiple tables.
Skills Assessor Reset tests – messages were changed to be more consistent.
Skills Assessor Reports - rename window made more consistent.
Fixed bug that could cause archiving a Knowledge Nudge to throw an error.
STS no longer allows archived users to access the system.
Improved the UI of the User selection hierarchy when there are large numbers of users.
Messaging service configuration no longer defaults to wrong end point address.
Fixed bug in learning item auto assignment application.
Hierarchy Selection Bug in Skills Analysis Screen was fixed.
Skills Assessor no longer shows an empty menu if the session times out and you log back in.
Fixed Knowledge Nudge Report UI for larger numbers of nudges.
Fixed bug when editing 0% feedback answer in Skills Assessor Assessment Editor.
Skills Assessor DNA - Corrected text of Upper Bound Label.
Feedback Assessments – fixed bug which caused the scale to break if it was built twice.
TLandlord "DNA Setup" no longer gives an error on "Test DNA Setup" in localised browser .
Running the cube no longer gives an error when imported KPIs have been deleted.
Corrected version number formatting in various places.
An issue in Assessments was corrected in which once the assessment was taken, there was no option to exit the screen
Improved accuracy of question duration recording.
“Randomly across content” view of questions now works correctly in Skills Assessor.
Nudge Duration is now recorded correctly even if the user starts the assessment without stopping the nudge.
PDF Knowledge Nudges can now be viewed on Android devices.
Optimizer - System Settings - Event Settings now shows next run and last run date times in local rather than UTC.
Optimizer - test taking, improved email handling in different time zones.
Learning Item Assignment no longer treats local time as UTC when processing.

There are no restrictions for this release. This section describes new features that were introduced in the initial 8.5 release of Genesys Skills Assessor.
The Skills Assessor user interface has been updated with a more responsive design. It can also be more heavily customised to fit with corporate branding.
The Notifications client has been rewritten using WPF, with an improved look and feel .
Learning Items can be linked to Assessment content and assigned (automatically or manually) based on the score achieved.
Knowledge nudges containing multimedia can now be created and viewed.
New Calculated KPI functionality – you can now build your own calculations for the KPIs you import directly in Skills Assessor.
Calculated KPIs can be used as PDR Objectives.
Assessments can be configured to be automatically assigned to users when they begin the assessment.
Assessments, Content and Questions can now be tagged.
Moodle LMS is now a supported LMS provider.
Optimizer can now create tasks within EWM for learning items.
Extended authentication to support Third party authentication systems New permissions management service was added.
Rules Based Group Assignment capability was added. Users can be added to groups, roles, and dna roles automatically based on rules
Users can now be emailed to notify them of assigned learning items.
HTTPS support can now be turned on and off via the installer.
Assessments now have a choice of layouts for multiple answer questions.
Added new Assessment Results API.
You can optionally choose to send emails when assessments are completed.
Added Simplified Chinese Translations.
Added Italian Translations.

Services – Personal development service no longer defaults to diagnostic verbosity for log files.

Fixed an issue in Edit Assessment when used in IE11 in which text could not change font size, style or color.
Fixed an issue in Edit Assessment when used in IE11 in which text could not be edited, or even selected.
Fixed an issue in Certificate when used in IE11 in which moving objectes were incorrectly handled.
Corrected an issue in which assigning assessments via DNA did not work properly.
Corrected an issue in localization assessments in which menu search box defaulted to "Search Navigation..."
Corrected an issue in localization in which "Test DNA Setup" button on landlord's "Setup DNA" option did not work correctly.
Landlord "DNA Setup" now pre-loads "User name" field in localised browser.
TLandlord "DNA Setup" no longer gives an error on "Test DNA Setup" in localised browser .
Services: WFM service now writes a log file
A Localization issue was corrected corrected in which the login page had an un-localised string "US Patent #8589215. Other patents pending." (plus copyright message)
An issue in Assessments was corrected in which once the assessment was taken, there was no option to exit the screen
An issue in Localization was corrected to "Manage KPI data" "Imports" tab footer.
An issue in Localization was corrected to Components, "Assessments" tab, edit .

Putting a single quote in a report name no longer breaks the report.
Improvement were made to how Admin reports handle long running searches.
Combined Feedback test security has been improved.
Learning items are now created automatically when Nudges and assessments are created.
DNA Users are automatically synced with Skills Assessor on import.
Auto login now requires encryption.
Question Response Summary Report no longer truncates the answer score.
Certificate editor no longer breaks when page is zoomed in IE11.
KPI Data loaded in none date order is now displayed correctly in the PRD KPI Chart.
Error that caused “Test LMS settings” to throw an exception in some circumstances has been fixed.
DNA Blocks now show 2 decimal places.
Fix provided because Microsoft Windows Update KB2990942 causes questions to be displayed incorrectly.
Kite Diagram - Left and Right Contents are no longer cut off if they exceed 18 characters.
Feedback Assessments no longer create new answer if you edit the 0% one.
Corrected datetime format from SkillsManagerWS in Italian locale.
